The Haitian Diaspora Network is dedicated to the economic, political, and social development of the Haitian diaspora and Haiti. Our philosophy and ideology are rooted in the belief that a united and empowered diaspora can significantly contribute to the progress of Haiti.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to lead our Networking and Partnerships department. This role is crucial in strengthening connections within the Haitian diaspora and with external partners to drive our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance relationships within the Haitian diaspora and with external partners.
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including community leaders, organizations, and potential partners.
- Foster collaborations that support the economic, political, and social development of the Haitian diaspora and Haiti.
- Represent the Haitian Diaspora Network at events, meetings, and conferences.
- Coordinate and manage networking events, webinars, and other initiatives to promote engagement and collaboration.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Deep passion for the development of Haiti and alignment with the Haitian Diaspora Network’s philosophy and ideology.
- Proven experience in networking, partnerships, or community engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for remote collaboration.
- Fluency in English and Haitian Creole is preferred.
