Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to lead our Research and Data Analysis department. This role is essential in providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement research strategies to gather relevant data on the Haitian diaspora and Haiti.
- Analyze data to provide actionable insights that inform organizational decision-making.
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure data-driven approaches are integrated into all initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of programs and initiatives using data analysis.
- Stay updated on the latest research methodologies and data analysis tools.
- Represent the Haitian Diaspora Network in research-related events and forums.
Qualifications:
- Deep passion for the development of Haiti and alignment with the Haitian Diaspora Network’s philosophy and ideology.
- Proven experience in research, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Python, SQL).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Fluency in English and Haitian Creole is preferred.
